Aya Naoe is a printmaker based in Hartford, South Dakota whose work explores the theme of identity.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of South Dakota in 2025, Naoe continues to develop her style of gloomy imagery and stylized aquatic creatures to create a juxtaposition.

Naoe's work has been shown in exhibitions at the University of Texas, Utah State University, and the Artlink Gallery, as well as local community spaces in Vermillion, South Dakota. Their artistic focus include applying to residencies and grad school to expand her knowledge of printmaking.
